We should require to have the Chinese characters

carefully written for any new duties of Adhesive Stamps

which it may be decided to adopt.

We do not quite understand whether Mr Mitchell-Innes

requires a simple surface dating stamp, or whether he

wishes to have over-embossing dies carrying the date,

similar to those in use at Somerset House. We shall be

glad to receive your instructions on this point.
